Margaret Tannerabout this book: Fiery Possession was short-listed in an English Publisher's unpublished manuscript award.
Fiery Possession is loosely connected to my novel, Savage Possession. It is not a gentle love story, more like the old fashion bodice rippers.
It is set in 1860's frontier Australia, and in those days it took tough men like Luke Campton to tame such a harsh and unforgiving land. They needed strong willed women like Jo Saunders at their sides to succeed.I am an avid history buff, so I enjoyed my research for this story. It is set in North Eastern Victoria, where I was born and spent a lot of my childhood, so I know the countryside very well. In fact, my grandparents were some of the people who pioneered the area.
There is a fine line between hate and love, and when a man and woman step over that line, firworks are bound to follow, add a dollop of revenge,a forced marriage to another woman, and Jo and Luke have a torrid battle on their hands before they can finally achieve their happily ever after ending.
