Lucia Trifanabout this book: Lucia Trifan was born in Romania, in 1949, in legendary Vrancea County.
She graduated the School of Fine Arts from Brasov in 1979, with degree in sculpture and ceramics.
Searching for the liberty of expression, Lucia has left Romania in 1979, living in West Germany for five years.
She arrived in Sint Maarten Island, Dutch Caribbean, in 1984 since when she is a permanent resident.
Her art is part of the biography and the personal history is written through art. At times, the creative process proven painful but Lucia never gave up: the title of this album is nothing less than the expression of a Burning Tears reality she lives in.
The album reunites a selection of paintings. The whole collection signed by Lucia Trifan is huge, spanning over twenty five years of creative effort. The present album exhibits a mere two hundred pictures, grouped in "Circles:" The Arctic Circle, The Abstract Circle, The Mask Circle and The Natural Light Circle. The selection is not including one of the most prolific circles, The Milky Way Circle, which is reserved for special publishing.
