Author Shawna Sparlinabout this book: The book is about anxiety and how to eliminate the symptoms that many people suffer from. Over half the population in America suffers from anxiety, stress or depression everyday. A little over 60% of these people are taking some kind of prescription medicine to control the effects of anxiety. Most of the prescription medicines today cause uncomfortable, if not harmful, side effects. For many people anxiety, and its symptoms, have disrupted or interfered with their quality of life. I researched this topic extensively once I realized that natural alternatives existed to erase many of the common feelings that come with anxiety. Along with telling you what the five super foods are and why they work like they do, I have included 30 recipes to help the reader include these foods into their weekly diet. I like the cover because she looks like she is juggling more than she can handle, which I believe, represents most of us today. We all lead busy, stressful lives and it takes a toll on us physically. I learned a lot of very useful information, such as, how to know when I am in control of my feelings or when my anxiety is controlling me. I also learned a lot of great, and some not so great, healthy new recipes. Don't worry, I only included the yummy recipes in the book. I hope you all enjoy reading my book as much I enjoyed writing it.
