Lorraine Careyabout this book: Losing Ground is about one woman's journey into the world of Divine Intervention when I encountered a 'Spiritual Emergency' after the death of both of my parents.
Prior to the death of of both of my parents I had been receiving strange signs and messages from who I believed to be angels and other enlightened souls.
Most of my readers are women who have encountered similar occurrences and those interested in the Paranormal field.
I began taking notes in a journal for about a six months during the time I was experiencing these odd events and oddly enough when I was recovering in a hospital bed after a medical mishap I wrote the entire story from my hospital bed.I wrote for an entire day as the pen just touched the paper as it was coming through as 'automatic writing.'
Losing Ground became a fitting title as I began to feel ungrounded but connecting to a different world-the spiritual side.
The hardest part of this book was writing with so much grief still in me as I cried after writing each chapter.
After Losing Ground I realized I had the ability to write but was being led to write another type of genre- fiction for young adults.
To my readers out there, I can only say, I truly believe we are led by Divine Intervention to write and are meant to share our story with others who will benefit from the novel.
