Diane Craverabout this book: I have enjoyed writing my Dreams of Plain Daughters Amish Series about the Hershberger and Weaver families. In Book 3, my focus is on Ruth Yoder because she becomes interested in David Hershberger. Thirty-five-year-old Ruth is a schoolteacher in the Fields Corner Amish School. My daughter Christina is also the same age as Ruth, so I was happy to use her for the beautiful model for my cover for FLEETING HOPE.
I started writing this book in January 2014, but I don't have a daily writing schedule. My family is important to me, so I love to spend time with my husband, our children and grandchildren. Some days I didn't write at all. I finished writing this book in May, but spent time doing a full read through before I gave it to my editor. Then in June I was happy to have the edits done , and it went to my formatter.
Five star review from Janet Abney: "What a wonderful book! Fleeting Hope takes you into the heart of the Amish life, helping the reader to understand the way of life being Amish. I love the way the characters live with Englishers. So true to life. I highly recommend this book for a feeling that you were actually there! Great story, Ms. Craver! I hope there will be a Book 4."
