Sicily Yoderabout this book: I was once a book merchandiser for Chas Levy, and that was what encouraged me to start writing books. Since I have lived in a Plain home and have Plain family, I decided to write Plain books. A Busy Washday was my first Amish washday Book, and I have penned a dozen since then, some being on the Religion & Spirituality Best-Seller's List.
The stories are very short, light, and fun reads, and study and answer questions are included at the end, to make readers reflect on the storyline and their own lives. Tasty Amish recipes are included at the end.
Scent of Christmas in Shipshewana is one of my short stories from my Amish Washday Books series. The setting shows friendship challenges in beautiful Amish Country and how God can mend relationships. Can a simple competition on washday sour a friendship? Does one forgive as God forgives them? Read Scent in Shipshewana to see.
