Book: A Decision of Faith (Dreams of Plain Daughters Book 4) by Diane Cravercategories: Book, Politics, Midwife, Inspirational, Contemporary, Amish Romance
Diane Craverabout this book: When I originally started writing this Amish series, I never thought about having a book focused on Violet Robinson, but her character demanded one. I found it challenging to write about two people falling in love when their backgrounds are completely different. They need to overcome major obstacles if they stay together. Deciding which world to live in will not be an easy choice for an Amish man with a bishop for his father or for a college educated non-Amish woman.
I love the cover for A DECISION OF FAITH. I think it clearly portrays the two different worlds with the Amish farmer in the background, and a non-Amish female pondering what she should do with her life. While resting her arms on a fence, she's part of both conflicting worlds. But the decision comes when Violet needs to make a hard choice whether to join the Amish community or to remain in the English lifestyle she was raised in.
