Book: Catara - A Story of the Gefaradan by Lugh MacFeycategories: Book, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Coming of Age, Romance, Adventure, Aliens
Lugh MacFeyabout this book: The story of the Gefaradan has been with me for nearly 15 years. It was my first attempt at a novel, and how I discovered I was better at writing shorter fiction. So, I broke the novel down into parts and now I am putting them out there as shorts as I get them ready for release. Along this journey, I learned many things about myself and my writing with this particular story, like how to write alien sex scenes and how to use non earth words in a story and have the reader catch on by context. I also learned how to take a concept that most people associate with particular authors and make it mine.
As for the story itself, it's a bit of an adventure and a bit of a romance. It is a coming of age story, but not quite like most people would expect. Don't think things will go as planned or are as they seem, at least to Math. For him it's a whole new world.
