about this book: A telepathic dog is the key player in this adventure set in the Scottish Highlands and featuring a ghost that has wandered off from the mortuary. Between them they influence and aid the protagonists, an elderly and overweight retired gentleman and a young couple.

Angus Maclean inherits an old castle and its secret. He sets off on a humorous adventure to find the ancient Stone of Destiny, on which all Scottish Kings have been crowned. It is also thought to have magical properties. He meets a girl who joins the quest and a degree of confusion regarding ownership of the dog exists between them. As might be expected their plans are beset with problems mostly caused by a group of thugs who are also interested in finding the stone in their case for the power they believe it will bring. They travel from the tops of mountains to deep underground, to find what they are looking for.

This story more or less wrote itself not that I am claiming any unworldly intervention but just that once I started writing it the story unfolded. I enjoyed the process enormously and I hope that readers will enjoy the result as much. The history took a considerable amount of research but I felt it was important to get it accurate and the history also helped to create the story. If you like it please review it. If you don't like it, tweet or email me at and tell me why.
