Author JD Combsabout this book: I want to thank you all for a taking the time to stop by my book. I'm very excited to be able to share a little background with you about The Point of No Return. I hope you enjoy reading about Charley, the forty-something year old mom who gets bored, restless and lonely in her marriage. Her husband, Garrett, is an enigma who will keep you on your toes. Peter, Charley's high school crush, is...well, I don't know how to describe him without giving too much away. Add in Facebook, texting, sexting, Skype chats and a world that is too easy to fall into and you have the story The Point of No Return.

Writing this story was an emotionally wild ride for me. I experienced just about every emotion under the sun as the story unfolded beneath my fingertips. I felt a more than a twinge of revulsion as I researched and dug into the seedier side of a life I will never understand. I laughed along with my characters as they made their way into a New Orleans sex shop. I cringed with regret every time my main female character, Charley, waded further and further into a world of adultery and betrayal. I cried like crazy as I wrapped the telling of my story and I cheered like a mad woman when...well, I don't want to give away why I cheered.

I truly hope you enjoy reading it and that teaches you some of the same lessons I learned while I was writing it! I look forward to hearing back from all of you. Warmest Regards and Happy Reading! JD Combs
