about this book: I suffered from adenomyosis, a uterine disorder, for seventeen years. Most people have heard of endometriosis but have never heard of adenomyosis which is a similar disorder. Even some physicians out there have never heard of it. This is why I decided to write this book and share my story. Adenomyosis can cause severe abdominal pain, very heavy and prolonged menstrual bleeding, horrible bloating, infertility, and many other terrible symptoms. It is a condition that is extremely difficult to diagnose which leaves women with this disorder frustrated, confused, and depressed. Adenomyosis significantly reduces the quality of a woman's life, so it is imperative that more research is done to find the cause and effective treatment for this disorder. I am currently writing a second book on adenomyosis, and I have been active in promoting more research by authoring two seperate petitions for increased research. I hope that these books will encourage more research and help to educate the general public about this awful condition.
