Lorelie Rozzanoabout this book: I wrote this book for many reasons. Mainly it wrote me. This book is the first in the fictional Jagged series. Although it is fiction it is driven by my understanding and experience. I am a recovering addict. I also work in the field of addiction in a treatment center.
The book takes you on a ten year journey in a young woman's life. The main character Lyndsey is a dark protagonist who is one of the many walking wounded among us. Her home life is one filled with turbulence and chaos. Lyndsey harbors a vast hole, an emptiness that she seeks to fill. She finds her cure in a little white pill. The experience is so euphoric she can't wait to try it again. There's only one problem. The euphoria wears off. Now that she's found the solution she's prepared to do anything to keep it. And she does.
This is a graphic raw and edgy read. You`ll relate to Lyndsey - for she`s a little piece of all of us. You`ll root for her as if she`s family. You`ll feel like you've known her always. Her gift to you? HOPE.
"We are stronger in our broken places." — Ernest Hemingway.
