Bruce A. Bordersabout this book: When the Co-Directors of the Anti-Terrorism Operation, a division of Homeland Security, get wind of a plot to blow up a passenger train in America, they call on their one and only operative to stop the attack. But the typical non-specific threat means no one is sure when or where the terrorists will strike. To prevent the bombing, Wynn will need to be a passenger on the train - and he doesn't like trains! His bosses, Wardahl and Scorby, worry his usual violent behavior will incite panic among the passengers before he actually gets the job done.
To complicate matters, Wynn is accompanied by the Director of the Department Of Transportation, who has his own ideas about how to go about fighting terrorism. Wynn doesn't appreciate the help and makes no secret of it. And, not being sure whose side the guy is on, he's not entirely convinced the man can be trusted.
All is well that ends well, but with Wynn Garrett no one is ever sure how things will end!
"My favorite new series!"
